Rosemary Flavoured Baked Potato Wedges


          Spice up your evening with a hot cup of tea / coffee and these absolutely delicious baked potato wedges. I flavoured it with some rosemary and pepper powder. But you can go ahead and add any spice of your choice. 

          They are perfect appetizers and goes well with ketchup or green chutney. So say goodbye to all the fried store bought chips and  prepare these yummy and healthy snacks. So check out the step by step pictorial recipe to prepare it.





  • 2-3 big, oval shaped potatoes, each cut into 8 -10 pieces
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tbsp. pepper powder
  • 1 tsp. lime juice
  • 1 tsp. oil
  • few rosemary leaves
  • sauce / chutney to serve





          Marinate the wedges with all the above mentioned ingredients for 5-10 minutes. Line a baking tray with butter paper and grease it..

          Arrange all the marinated wedges on it and bake for 25-30 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees C.  Flip it over halfway through. Relish with some green chutney or ketchup.

                              Bake for 25-30 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees C. 



                                Flip it over halfway through.

Baked Potato Wedges


          These easy to make and delicious potato wedges needs no introduction. It is everybody's favorite snack / appetizer. Have them baked and relish guilt free as a tea-time snack / side dish or as an when desired. Do try and make them a little spicy to tickle your taste buds. 

          For added flavor you can sprinkle some grated cheese, an extra dash of lime for a tangy flavor or simply enjoy them with ketchup / green chutney. So go ahead and give it a try by checking out the step by step pictorial recipe to prepare them.








  • 2-3 large size oblong shaped potatoes
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp. garam masala powder
  • 1/4 tsp. sambar powder
  • 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp. oil
  • 1 tbsp. lime juice
  • sauce / chutney to serve





          Wash the potatoes and pat dry. Cut each into half and then each half into 4 pieces. Add all the above mentioned ingredients to the potatoes and toss well. Leave aside for 5-10 minutes.

          Now line a baking tray with a butter paper or foil and grease it. Arrange the marinated wedges on it.

          Bake in a preheated microwave oven for 25-30 minutes at 200 degrees C by flipping it over halfway through. Serve them hot with ketchup or any chutney.
