These easy to make and delicious potato wedges needs no introduction. It is everybody's favorite snack / appetizer. Have them baked and relish guilt free as a tea-time snack / side dish or as an when desired. Do try and make them a little spicy to tickle your taste buds.
For added flavor you can sprinkle some grated cheese, an extra dash of lime for a tangy flavor or simply enjoy them with ketchup / green chutney. So go ahead and give it a try by checking out the step by step pictorial recipe to prepare them.
- 2-3 large size oblong shaped potatoes
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp. red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp. garam masala powder
- 1/4 tsp. sambar powder
- 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 1 tbsp. lime juice
- sauce / chutney to serve
Wash the potatoes and pat dry. Cut each into half and then each half into 4 pieces. Add all the above mentioned ingredients to the potatoes and toss well. Leave aside for 5-10 minutes.
Now line a baking tray with a butter paper or foil and grease it. Arrange the marinated wedges on it.
Bake in a preheated microwave oven for 25-30 minutes at 200 degrees C by flipping it over halfway through. Serve them hot with ketchup or any chutney.
Wash potatoes & pat dry. Cut each into half & then each half into 4 pieces.
Add all ingredients to the potatoes & toss well.
Arrange marinated wedges on a baking tray.
Bake in a preheated oven for 25-30 min. at 200 degrees C by flipping it over
halfway through.
