Banana Oats Ice Cream

          Who can deny Ice Cream? It is loved and enjoyed by young and old alike. This chilled delicacy is a perfect after meal dessert and a party special. In fact, it can be had anytime of the day. So today I would like to share a very easy and a healthy version minus any cream. Just banana, oats, milk and jaggery and voila!!! you have a homemade ice cream ready in no time. Do try and relish with family and friends.

  • 2-3 bananas, chopped & frozen
  • 1/4 cup oats, dry roasted & powdered
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2-3 tbsp. jaggery
  • 1/4 tsp. cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp. rose water

          Blend all the ingredients to a smoothie type consistency. Transfer the contents to an airtight container and freeze for an hour.

          Mix it properly and again freeze for 7-8 hours. Serve in individual bowls and enjoy this chilled delight any time you like or as after-meal dessert.
