Sandesh or Kacha Golla is a very popular Bengali sweet that is made out of chenna or homemade paneer. Here is a quick version prepared out of Amul paneer. I gave a rose flavour to it by adding rose water and rose petals. Garnish the end product with some chopped pistachios and enjoy this delicacy as it is or chilled. So check for a step by step method with pictures to prepare it.
- 200 gms. Amul Paneer
- 4-5 tbsp. powdered brown sugar
- 2 tsp. rose water
- few rose petals, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp. chopped pistachios
Blend the paneer in the mixie till smooth. Add the rose water, sugar and rose petals. Mix well and form equal sized round balls.
Make an impression with your thumb in the centre and arrange few chopped pistachios. Serve these delicious sweets as it is or chilled.
200 gms. Amul Paneer
Blend in the mixi.
Mix along with the sugar and rose essence till smooth.
Add the finely cut rose petals and incorporate them well in the dough.
Form equal sized balls out of it & top them up with some chopped pistachios.
