Carrot Raita


          Raitas are a perfect accompaniment to any meal. They can also be served as a side dish with any Indian bread or Biryani / pulao / jeera rice. So how about a carrot based raita this winter season? It is absolutely easy, simple and refreshing too. Go ahead and give it a try and relish with your favourite meal. Bon Appetit!!








  • 1 cup thick yoghurt
  • 1/4 cup water
  • salt to taste
  • 1 small carrot, grated
  • 1-2 green chilies, chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp. coriander leaves, chopped





          Whisk the yoghurt, water and salt. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well. 

          Serve as an accompaniment to your meal. It can also be served as a side dish with parathas.
