Pan Grilled Paneer Sandwich


          Looking for some snacks that are quick, healthy and yummy? Then try these stuffed paneer sandwiches that are pan grilled to perfection. They are quite wholesome and can be prepared in a jiffy. Serve with any homemade chutney or tomato sauce. Enjoy them as snacks, breakfast, brunch, after-school snacks or as a lunch box meal. Choice is yours. 





  • 10-12 slices of brown bread
  • 1 potato, boiled & mashed
  • 100 gms. paneer, mashed
  • 2 tbsp. fried onions
  • 1-2 green chilies, chopped
  • 2-3 tbsp. coriander leaves, chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 4-5 tbsp. coloured bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 tsp. sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. chili flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp. lime juice
  • pinch of pepper powder
  • butter as required
  • tomato sauce as required





          In a bowl. mix together all the ingredients, except butter and tomato sauce. keep aside. 

          On one side of a bread apply some butter and on the other side some sauce. Place little of the mix on the side with sauce. Place another slice over it and fry on a grilled pan on both sides for 2-3 minutes. 

          Transfer to a serving plate. Make similar sandwiches with the remaining bread slices and paneer mix. 

          Serve along with tomato sauce / green chutney as breakfast / tea-time snack.




                      Mix together all the ingredients, except butter & tomato sauce.



On one side of a bread apply some butter.



                       On other side some sauce. Place some paneer mix on the sides with sauce. 




                  Place another slice over it & fry on a grilled pan on both sides for 2-3 min. 



                       Serve with tomato sauce / green chutney as breakfast / tea-time snack.
