Salmon is a very healthy option as it contain omega 3 fatty acids. There are many variations to the marination. Here, I kept it very simple. Just a dash of olive oil, pepper powder, salt and lemon juice is enough to bring out the true flavors, instead of layering it with lots of spices. Have as a light meal with lots of salads.
- 1 salmon fillet
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp. pepper powder
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. butter
- few strips of assorted bell peppers
- slices of cucumber
- bean sprouts
- sliced onion
- lettuce leaves
Marinate the fish fillet with salt, lemon juice, pepper powder and olive oil for an hour. Heat butter in a pan and shallow fry the fillet till golden brown on both sides.
Serve along with the salad of bell peppers, onion, lettuce, cucumber and bean sprouts.
